We are located in the northwest area of Spain, within close proximity of the important sea crossing that allows trade from Mediterranean Sea, Africa and South America to Northern Europe. 


80% of Spanish shipyards are situated within our city. The ships are constructed to cater for any function such as offshore, merchant, fishing and also for the military shipbuilding industry. 


The shipyards in Navantia (Ferrol) are located 40 km away our city and they have been pioneers of the Spanish shipbuilding industry. Nowadays, they are mainly dedicated to warships building for different countries. 


This has developed the establishment of many companies related to the auxiliary shipbuilding industry, as we did. Within our area we can find high-class manufacturers who export all over the world products such as propellers, boilers, hydraulic systems, winches, alternators, pumps, deck machinery, engineering, shipbuilding design, interior decoration and so on.
